Brief

Bringing together a number of sites across the county the NHS engaged iQ Workspace to create a cohesive space, strong on team based working and also, given the highly confidential nature of their work, discrete and private spaces for interviews and private work.

Fully cable managed Nova bench furniture with Formetiq desk dividing screens, in combination with ‘at-the-workspace’ storage solutions was proposed to accommodate and provide a fresh new environment for the teams being brought into the space. iQ Workspace proposed the use of Qube Pods from Boss Design which provide a separate space for private work and confidential telephone calls. The pods also fitted the brief for bookable meeting space. By utilising pods the client has no dilapidation cost as nothing is fixed to the structure of the building. The pods can also be reconfigured or relocated to other spaces or sites in the future. Each pod has it’s own air movement and lighting controlled by PIR entry sensors.
